Sitting meditation is the activity most often associated with Zen practice in the popular mind, though if there was a second, the tea ceremony or martial arts would likely receive that nomination. Despite the popularity of the martial arts and its association with Zen in the popular mind, it is actually one of the least practiced avenues of Zen meditation.
